I’ve been trying to get my head around colour management for ages. It seems like a hugely complicated topic, so I’ll keep my question as simple as possible :

InDesign: Export with SVG in spot colors
My Indesign document needs to be printed with a spot color. I have a svg-logo which is supposed to have this exact spot color.
Do colors like these have a specific name OR special “category” of names for each?
I’m a graphic designer but I’ve a weak point. I quite don’t know the names of these colors.

I have not given this too much thought until recently, when a bit of a back and forth happened with a client. So, when I start a new document in InDesign, for CMYK print, how to I know how to setup the color settings ?
What will the color of my image look like once printed?
I’m working on a project in Photoshop in CMYK. I exported my rendered tif file in 2 image viewers and they don’t look the same. Windows image viewer shows the same as in Photoshop but ACDSee shows different colors. I tried changing color profiles in ACDSee but it doesn’t change anything after restarting the program and reloading the file. It still looks off.
