I’d like to know if there is a best practice/correct way to setup a right-click menu for a React component.
I’m currently developing a desktop application with Node-webkit. During that process I need to get some data from a local MySQL-database.
I want to give the user any option he want to edit a file, how can I open a file with the default program of the specific file type? I need it to work with Windows and Linux but Mac option would be great too.
I’d like to create a same sort of tray menu like this application. Because it is on the list of applications that use node-webkit/nw.js, I think it’s possible. I have looked through all the documentation and couldn’t find anything on how to achieve that. Searching Google also wasn’t really fruitful.
How i can sort this array list to be sure all files starting with
_ will be first?
I made a Webkit app that register small codes on txt like snippets to use later on other apps. I can find my “snippet” and set the content on clipboard.
EXCERPT from your question: “I don’t really care if that’s IE“
first things first , i have seen nwsnapshot. and its not helping.
I tried NeDB in node-webkit it’s working fine on in memory data but not able to store in persistent storage.
I recently discovered that
c:/Users/username/AppData/Local/AppName/Cache contained over 100K cache files.
