I run a multiple author platform and to improve the moderation, I want to add a couple of assisting editors. I want to add a custom box to the Post page where the assisting editor can confirm which tasks they have completed.

I wish to remove the sub menus of post/link/media under the add new menu in the admin bar. I can remove the entire menu but I actually only want to remove the sub menu’s
I am currently looking at creating a new type of site archive within WordPress that allows users to filter by category AND by year rather than the default category OR year.
