How can I quickly determine what the root URL is for my ASP.NET MVC application? I.e., if IIS is set to serve my application at http://example.com/foo/bar, then I’d like to be able to get that URL in a reliable way that doesn’t involve getting the current URL from the request and chopping it up in some fragile way that breaks if I re-route my action.
I am using Entity Framework 1 with .net 3.5.
We have a web application that’s deployed to many websites with only frontend changes, the shared backend portion has it’s DLL in the GAC so we only have to update that one dll and all the sites get the update.
If the controller action has the OutputCache attribute specified on an action, is there any way to clear the output cache without having to restart IIS?
