I’m fairly new to C# and coding in general. I’m looking for an example/open source Timer Function that will be used to throw a basic method (ex. Email Notifications) once a week at a certain time. After doing some research I’ve found that using a Timer instead of a Windows Service would be wise as it will have a very small workload.

I have an asp.net 4.0 application that is using forms authentication set to a timeout at 45 minutes. I would like to redirect the user to a timeout page when the session has expired. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I am running .net 4.0.
i am looking to get the data from any given domain names SSL certificate. For example I want to put in any website address e.g. “http://stackoverflow.com” and my code would firstly check if an SSL certificate exists. If it does then I want it to pull out the expiry date of the certificate. [ i am reading Domainnames from DB ]

I’m having trouble figuring out why the RowCommand isn’t firing. Oddly enough, I have a different GridView on the page and its RowCommand is firing without issue so I have no idea what the problem could be.
