I’m having a problem with my WordPress install. All of a sudden some of my posts return 404 errors when I try to go to their permalink. My post names are all numbers and this started happening when my numbered posts went over 1000.
As the title states, I’d like to remove parent slugs from URLs for a particular post type: services.
I did folowed the steps / solution from Jeff it helped me alot with he’s settings, got it for about 90% working properly. But getting stuck on the post / postname. It loads now the producten/%taxonomy_products%/ without the 404 errors. But when i click further on a post i get the 404 errors again.
I often need to link to custom taxonomy term archive pages and would love to be able to do so through the AJAX internal link navigator added to the visual editor in 3.1. Is there any way to get this functionality, with either with a plugin or non-colossal changes to the core?
Is it possible to get a page’s permalink from the slug alone? I’m aware that you can get the page’s permalink from the ID using get_page_link():

I’d like to know how I can rewrite a search URL that also contains an extra query var into a pretty permalink using wp_redirect and the template_redirect hook.
I’m using WordPress 3.1.3 as a full CMS, installed in the root directory of a domain. I have it setup using the built in options to have a static page as the home page, and then my blog at http://www.example.com/blog.
I have set the blog to be a different page other than the home page.
I have a website where users can register, login and their edit profile, they can comment but not post.
