I’ve got a custom query on my homepage showing all posts in a certain category. I need this query to respect sticky posts, but it seems from my research that category queries ignore stickyness. My question is two (and a half) fold:
I am developing a site that has two different custom post types; one of them is called Articles and one is called Sketchpad. Sketchpad is user submitted content that is assigned a custom taxonomy term value of either; public or private. Public posts are shown on the site and private posts aren’t.
i’m listing all posts of my custom post type “person” alphabetically sorted by the custom field last_name on a page.
