Recently I switched computers and since then I can’t launch chrome with selenium. I’ve also tried Firefox but the browser instance just doesn’t launch.
I am running this code with python, selenium, and firefox but still get ‘head’ version of firefox:
I’m working on a python script to web-scrape and have gone down the path of using Chromedriver as one of the packages. I would like this to operate in the background without any pop-up windows. I’m using the option ‘headless’ on chromedriver and it seems to do the job in terms of not showing the browser window, however, I still see the .exe file running. I’m trying to scrape product information from a webpage, using scrapy. My to-be-scraped webpage looks like this:
After searching the web for hours i didnt yet find an answer to my problem. I am using Python 3.6 and i cant import selenium. I always get the message “No module named ‘selenium”
I tried everything, i first downloaded selenium from this website https://pypi.python.org/pypi/selenium/3.6.0 .
