In Windows Forms it’s easy to inherit one user control from another. The inherited control contains all the controls of the parent form, and you can add some more. Can the same be done with ASP.NET? I’m talking about the .ASCX type of user controls.
I’m using Identity 2.1 to handle the user roles in my asp.net application. So far so good, i created new context extending from IdentityDBContext, extending the IdentityUser and IdentityRole to add a couple of new fields. However, whenever im trying to add a user to a specific role using the UserManager im getting The entity type IdentityRole is not part of the model for the current context.. So there seem to be something wrong with the user-role relationship, here is my code so far for reference:
We have created a Custom Capcha generator using C#.Net. Now we have requirement to upgrade our Capcha to include audio feature(Listen Capcha). Our major constraint is that we cannot use any third party components(Dlls)

I get this message while trying to run a webservice on the browser. Note that the source code is a windows file and can’t be changed for my need.
I just updated my project to MVC 5.1 from MVC 5. The main web.config file got updated automatically, but web.configs under main View and Areas folders weren’t changed. I suspect that’s why now I lost both intellisense and resharper support for my actions, controllers and areas.
I have an ASP.NET / C# application in which the Master Page contain the main menu of my application and several content pages that depend of this master page.
In my project the Global.asax file is removed. I want add a global.asax file to my projet.
But in Add New Item dialog the Global.asax not exist.
