I’m looking for a way to create a parent authors page and then use the author.php for the individual author pages.
I’ve been out of the loop (no pun) for a couple months and am wondering the best way to do it.

I am using multipress, but users with small screens cannot access the HTML tab as the Publish meta box has a div that slides above it, disabling the ability to click it. One idea is to force a single column layout, but there are no options for this in screen options. Is there another way to do it?

How does DD32’s tool determine the WordPress version of an installation. Its not working fine for WP 3.1 but it doesn’t uses meta generator tag or the readme.txt of WP. So what else can it be?
