Right now for my plugin, I am using in_admin() to determine if the user is in the frontend of the site or in the admin area. However, the problem occurs when plugins use admin-ajax.php to process ajax requests.
I love admin-ajax.php. But I hate having to localize in order to point frontend scripts to it, and I wish there was an equivalent, easy-to-find file for themes. (It also just bothers me to see frontend requests go through “/wp-admin/”. No practical reason, just looks ugly IMO.)

I’m trying to create a new wordpress template and inside it I added a Control Panel, inside this control panel there is an option that allows user to choose where he want’s to place a on a map, I try to explain: user can set div’s left and top attributes via control panel.
