Azure websites have a default “site URL” provided by Azure, something like mysite.azurewebsites.net. Is it possible to get this URL from inside the website itself (i.e. from the ASP.NET application)?

I’m building a .Net Console application to read information in a DocumentDB. The console app has data coming from an EventHub and inserts/updates recent data as it comes into the cloud.
I am trying to migrate a database from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Azure. The database that I am attempting to migrate includes the ASP.NET Membership database (http://www.asp.net/web-forms/tutorials/moving-to-aspnet-20/membership). This database works fine when I run it in my SQL Server 2008 database. However, when I try to authenticate a user against SQL Azure, I receive an error that says:
I have a WebForms app that uses the WindowsAzure.Storage API v3. It works fine in development and in one production environment, but I’m rolling out a new instance and any code that calls out Azure Blob Storage gives me a 403 error.
I feel guilty asking a question like this around here, but I’m at a loss and would appreciate some help.
I am running a very basic webAPI project in Visual Studio Pro 2013. It runs fine on localhost on my machine. I then try and go to a browser from a different machine and goto :57571 similiar to how i could point to rails apps by putting the servers ipaddress followed by the port number. I then get
Bad Request – Invalid Hostname HTTP Error 400. The request hostname is invalid.
After deploying ASP.NET Core app to azure and opening the site, I get the following error:
We have onpremise web service (asp.net core mvc) deployed on local network machine. We are trying to call these WEB API using App Service deployed on Azure. But it is giving time out error or Task was cancelled error in case when we try to connect it using “HTTP” Protocol. In case of “HTTPS” it is giving “security error occurred error“.
I have an ASP.NET MVC 5 app where I need to invoke wkhtml2pdf.exe in my Azure website using Process.Start. Locally everthing works fine. But it seems my app stuck at Process.Start line. Is starting a process is supported on Azure?
