So I’m trying to understand IQueryable<T>. A tutorial I’m reading suggests using it but not really sure why. The code simply returns some values using LINQ to SQL. I’ve done this plenty of times in the past, but not using IQueryable<T>
How can I share the auto-generated entity data model (generated object classes) amongst all layers of my C# web app whilst only granting query access in the data layer? This uses the typical 3 layer approach: data, business, presentation.
I’m using .NET 4.0, MVC3, and EF5 with code first.
I want to get data from my data access layer into my business layer, then prepare it for use in my UI.
It seems that whenever I add anything to my project which uses code in my commonClass.vb file, I get errors about SQL Server not being recognized.
