I have a baseball related website with multiple authors. I use the “Stick this post to the front page” to denote an “Editor’s Pick” on an article. I would like to add a link/button to allow editor to do this from the front end. The method can either be in the article itself or in the Admin Bar. I do not really have a preference.
Add quicktag buttons to the HTML editor
I am trying to figure out how to modify the HTML editor in wordpress; on the image below you can see a screenshot of the editor and the buttons on the top. Is it possible to add new buttons? I would like to add a button that will insert “” tags and some custom short-code tags as well. I know it’s not impossible, but does anyone know how to do it?

Is there a way to Disable the visual editor for all users without logging in and setting each user’s setting in the admin panel, preferable some way to do it with code in the functions file?
How to see files in directories in “Edit Themes” screen
I like to have folders in my theme folder for scripts and styles, but I can’t access these folders in the “Edit Themes” interface. This is problematic for clients that don’t give me FTP access. Is there a way to see these folders and the files in them from the WordPress admin section?
