SimpleMembershipProvider not working

I started a new internet project with VS2012 and am trying to just restructure my project a bit and I can’t seem to keep the SimpleMemberhsipProvider working. Basically, all I’ve done is move the models objects into a core project along with a couple other items. I’ve implemented Ninject and am trying to abstract Entity a bit by using a repository pattern to get my data. I really don’t feel as though I’ve changed much with the current project, but for some reason when I start the application now I get:

Entity Framework Updating with Related Entity

I’m using the EF to try to update an entity with ASP.NET. I’m creating an entity, setting it’s properties then passing it back to the EF on a separate layer with the ID so the change can be applied. I’m doing this because I only store the ID of the entity when it’s been bound to the UI controls.

I am learning ASP.NET. I came to EntityDataSorce control. I am using EF6. In VS 2010, changing <MvcBuildViews>true</MvcBuildViews> in a MVC2 project’s .csproj file causes an error if you are using Entity Framework.
