I noticed in one of the updates since wordpress 5 that when I paste in a link to another site it shows the page title as the hyperlink (usually “Home”) instead of the URL. I don’t want that, I want the actual URL as is.

Is there a way to disable image attachment links trought a filter in functions.php or something ? I know it’s possible to do it manually when you add an image to a post but I want to disable this functionality by default.

I’d like to make all the links in posts on one of my sites to be with rel=”nofollow” on links inside posts. I wasn’t able to find a plugin that did the job except for WP-NoExternalLinks. It also didn’t work, unless I used it’s dooms day option:
It can be sometimes bothersome when, in the Discussion (Comments) dashboard, where the admin can see a list of comments, moving the mouse over a link will cause a preview of that link. Sometimes the preview gets in the way of looking at the comment. This is especially true with spam comments.
