I have developed responsive theme and I want to submit it the wordpress.org. Before submitting it I want to use wp_is_mobile() in my theme, but according to Function Reference/wp is mobile it is a bad idea because it say’s this :
I have installed the Google Analyticator plugin on my site. I am also using the MobilePress plugin to serve up a theme designed for non-smart-phone mobile browsers. I have set up Google Analytics for Mobile for use in this theme and would like to disable the Analyticator plugin since it includes a call to a larger js file.

Well I have a working solution, although not ideal.
I know it’s easy stuff, but I’m new to this and I can’t understand which is the best approach.
I created 1 custom post type with 2 custom taxonomy. Installed http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/json-api/ and tried to reach result with:
http://example.com/api/get_recent_posts?dev=1&post_type=myposttype
I am eperiencing a very annoying problem. I built my website with media queries and is_mobile (thinking is_mobile would be the same as smaller screens. How foolish of me.) but after some testing apparently the iPad kind of screws it up (okay, actually I did).
How do I make sure my blog is iPad / iPhone / Android / touch-device friendly?
