I have an extra copy of the sidebar content appearing after the last post and before the footer in the output HTML. So I have one on the side in the correct position, and one at the end of the page. Any idea on how to get rid of the second one?
I moved get_sidebar(); from header.php to footer.php but it simply does not appear is being placed after the last post in the page body instead of after the footer. There are no errors displayed. What do I need to do to get this working?
SOLVED: Because I overlooked a basic feature I didn’t realize existed. LOL. Veteran brain-lapse.

This is impossible with the get_sidebar function since it simply prints out
the sidebar, is there another function that I can use?
