colspan gridview rows
I have added rows into gridview. There are 20 columns in gridview. How can i do a colspan-like feature in gridview which could show me 2-3 rows under 2-3 columns and remaining as a colspan.

What does the option “convert to web application” do if I select it in visual studio? If I do convert my site to a web application what are the advantages? Can I go back?
When I deploy asp.net application through visual studio I know I can just check Precompile during publish and uncheck Allow precompiled site to be updateable.
I’m currently upgrading my ASP.Net RC1 to ASP.Net Core RC2. The Solution Explorer in Visual Studio is giving me a warning of “Dependencies – not installed” with subfolder “npm – not installed”.
In Visual Studio 2010, under Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> HTML -> Formatting -> Tag Specific Options, there are options for configuring how the editor auto formats different HTML and ASP.NET tags. This includes things like if it should automatically put a newline before and after the tag, etc.
