I am building a few web sites in ASP.NET Core (multiple user interface applications and a WebAPI app). They all work together, utilising the WebAPI. For the purpose of my question we’ll call them App1, App2 and App3. I am hosting my websites in IIS.
In Asp.Net 5 the development is faster because it compiles on save.
But I still have to refresh the browser manually.

I’m trying to mix Windows and Anonymous authentication in a .Net Core 2.0 empty web app. I would like to avoid the [Authorize] attribute as I do not want to use Mvc or controllers.
I’ve been studying ASP.NET 5 for some time now and there is something I’m yet confused. To implement authentication in Web API 2 what I used to do was basically use the OWIN OAuth Authentication Server Middleware. It was simple to use, I could configure just what I needed and there wasn’t a bunch of stuff I needed to put on the app without need for it.

Long story short, Is it possible to place an environment based authorization attribute on my API so that the authorization restriction would be turned off in development and turned back on in Production?
I have an MVC 6 (vNext/ASP.NET 5) project, with one class library for the DAL(Data Access Layer). Now I am getting an exception because NHibernate can’t find the mapping file for an entity I am trying to persist. I have seen strict instructions to mark this XML mapping file as an embedded resource and not to copy to output, but in none of the three property pages I manage to open for this file, is there anywhere to stipulate this.
