ASP.NET site sometimes freezing up and/or showing odd text at top of the page while loading, on load balanced servers

In the last month our ASP.NET web app has stopped responding to requests and we have had to reset the app pool to get it back up.
How can i freeze initial 2 -3 leftmost column in asp.net grid view? so that while horizontal scrolling initial 2 – 3 columns that got freezes will always be display.

I’ve got an eeePC 900a: it has a 8GB flash as disk and only 1GB of RAM. The Linux distribution installed on it is ArchLinux.
My Linux Mint system (17 Cinnamon, lenovo g565) hangs up frequently during work (say, 2-4 times a day). It may look different – white screen, black screen, screen freeze.
