Am doing some work on a remote CentOS 5.6 machine and my network keeps dropping.
Is there a way that I can recover my hung sessions after I reconnect?
I.e. what I want is the Linux equivalent of Windows Public/Pictures.
What benefit could I see by compiling a Linux kernel myself? Is there some efficiency you could create by customizing it to your hardware?
I connect to a Slackware server. When a command is longer than the size of the putty window, the line continues in the same line, and the start of the command disappears as I continue adding to the same command, just putting a “<” at the beginning of the line.
