How does Html.Raw MVC helper work?

I use the Html.Raw to print a raw html content, for example when I send some thing like ViewBag.div = "<div> Hello </div>"; from the controller to the view side it does not print a raw html content unless I use the Html.Raw method but if I have an encoded content, like content encoded using jquery and inserted into the database and I want to print it as a raw html content the Html.Raw method does not work and I have to use HttpUtility.HtmlDecode(EncodedContent) before I use Html.Raw so please could anyone explain why it acts in this way and what is the proper situation to use Html.Raw method? or in another way, why Html.Raw does not work when it receives html entities as a parameter instead of html tags?.

ASP.Net MVC – Resource Cannot be found error

I am completely new to ASP.Net MVC. I just created an MVC3 project in Visual Studio 2010. The view engine is razor. When I just ran the application it gave the proper result in the browser. The URL is http://localhost:4163/ . Then I applied “Set as Start Page” to Index.cshtml inside ~ViewsHome folder. Then when I ran the application the url became http://localhost:4148/Views/Home/Index.cshtml and it said the resource cannot be found. What do I do to correct it? Where is the url mapping done?

How to use multiple form elements in ASP.NET MVC

So I am new to ASP.NET MVC and I would like to create a view with a text box for each item in a collection. How do I do this, and how do I capture the information when it POSTs back? I have used forms and form elements to build static forms for a model, but never dynamically generated form elements based on a variable size collection.
