The project I am working on involves reading a lot of service endpoints (url) from a config file. Since the list would be quite large I decided to keep them in a custom config file to keep my web.config clean and small. I included the custom section to my web as below:
I installed a fresh AMI for EC2 (http://aws.amazon.com/amis/Microsoft/5147732567196848) and have installed Web deploy 2.1 on it.
I am trying to publish a website from my computer to an IIS web server via web deploy.
I use the following script to deploy my ASP.NET MVC app to our web server:
When developing a site on VS2010/IIS 7.5, I’m using Web Deploy to publish the site from my machine to the dev site server.
When trying to deploy the web application 4.0 on to the server it is giving this error, although its working fine on the local machine having IIS7
