I assume this is an IIS error, as this doesn’t happen if I run the project on my local machine.
Other than the fact that ASP.NET MVC Web Application has more clarity in its implementation of the MVC pattern and that it strictly follows the MVC pattern, how is it different from ASP.NET Web Application?

I have an MVC3 project that I upgraded from VS2010 to VS2012. The project also has a reference to MiniProfiler. Our application compiles and runs fine in VS2012 without any warnings/errors.
