(I’ve already noticed that this question was asked before but I think it has not been answered in a way I’d like to understand the topic.)
We have env(1) to modify the environment of the command we want to run (for example env MANPAGER=more man dtrace). Is there something similar but for modifying the directory that the command is going to be started in?
Currently I’m running a FreeBSD 9.1 and the default gateway is already configured in the rc.conf.
After installing FreeBSD we would like to use following commands to install additional packages.
My computer is running macOS 10.12.3 and I am using the system-installed grep utility with version 2.5.1-FreeBSD.
