I’m currently developing an app in Angular with an ASP.NET backend. I’ve configured the project to work fine locally in IE11 (Update polyfills, browserlist, and add ES5 TsConfig files), but when I’ve published it to the server via IIS the page will not load and is stuck at “Loading…”
I already have a window open with the web site I’m debugging. I don’t need VS to launch another one for me every time I need to debug.
IE11 is coming. I just installed the developer preview version. However, if I run some of my web application and I got the error WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions is undefined.
I’m having a serious issue with Internet Explorer caching results from a JQuery Ajax request.
I have a form with a textbox and a button. IE is the only browser that will not submit the form when Enter is pressed (works in FF, Opera, Safari, Chrome, etc.). I found this javascript function to try to coax IE into behaving; but no avail:
I have a site I go to that allows me to auto log in with my creditentials (windows) and using Internet Explorer I can just set the option under “User Authentication” to “Automatic logon with current user name and password”, but I’m wanting to use Google Chrome. However, it always prompts me for user/pass and I’m looking to have it set up like IE. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks!
Background story:
In a domain-controlled environment I’m finding that the compatibility mode is triggered on certain clients (winXP/Win7, IE8/IE9) even when we are providing a X-UA tags, a !DOCTYPE definition and “IE=Edge” response headers. These clients have the “display intranet sites in compatibility view” checkbox ticked. Which is precisely what I’m trying to override.
We all know that IE11 detection does not work with server side languages because Microsoft has removed the IE/MSIE browser indication and now is fully “Mozilla”.
