I am working on a project created as “Web Application Project” in C#, I am trying to implement new functionality to existing pages. Changes done on aspx page are working properly but when I add code into code behind file, changes are not reflecting. Things I have tried:
There were before aspdotnet1.0 include/exclude sections on project.json file
when I try to run a web application in visual studio 2017RC on windows 10, it opens a new browser instance(in my case chrome). I’ve tried also with internet explorer, situation is same, and browser not signed in, but if I just manually run chrome it is signed in.
How to prevent visual studio to run a new browser instance on each time I run web application? When I press run website it should be opened in same window as previous application(just next tab)
I have a simple Visual Studio solution, running ASP.NET Core v2 and building a React app.
I tried to publish my ASP.NET Core application on Windows Server 2008 R2 but I get this error:

I just installed Visual Studio 2017. When I open an existing website, I get all sorts of warning messages such as this one:
I have several projects in the solution, and the C# 7 features, such as tuples and throw expressions, work fine in all of the library projects, but there is a (non Core) web project that doesn’t compile due to errors on the C# 7 features. Right after compiling, the error window quickly clears itself, presumably because the IDE/editor compiles the same units without error. I have to use the output window to see the compiler errors. It is as though the IDE/editor are assuming C# 7, but the compiler used in the build is not.
I’m using VS 2017 usually for console applications. But now I have to create a new ASP.NET MVC project and found something curious.
I am using Visual Studio 2017 community edition. I have installed .NET Core SDK 2.0.3 version and .NET Core 2.0.0 runtime. But I don’t see the ASP.NET Core with .NET Framework template option in Visual Studio 2017. Do I need to install anything else?
