I recently learned that if I page my files with less, I can press v and open the buffer in Emacs. This works as long as I have the environment variable $EDITOR set up correctly, which in my case I have it as:
How can I turn off Hardware Acceleration in Linux, also known as Direct Rendering. I wish to turn this off, as it messes with some applications like OBS Studio which can’t handle capturing of hardware acceleration on other applications since it’s enabled for the entire system. Certain apps can turn it on and off, but can’t do this for desktop and other apps.
I have a device that I need to connect to over SSH. The device is connected to my workstation via a direct ethernet connection. I’m attempting to assign the connected device an IP address somehow that I can SSH to, however all of the guides I’m finding have the user configure the IP from whatever device they’re working with (namely Raspberry Pi’s and so on). This is not something I can do with this device as I’ve no physical interface to work with.
I’m having trouble setting my keyboard settings to swedish, running Raspbian on a raspberry pi. I’ve tried everything and the only thing that worked was the command setxkbmap se.
I am using tcsh. bash and zsh and other suggestions won’t help here.
